The team at BCS Sale Recruitment were delighted that Jobs Expo Dublin, held on Saturday 22 October 2016, was a fantastic success.
We’ve been organising Jobs Expo Dublin, Cork and Belfast on behalf of Careers Unlimited since 2012. Jobs Expo brings together a huge range of different companies and career opportunities, and our latest Dublin event bore this out.
Both Irish and multinational companies took part. Exhibitors include the National Ambulance Service, BNY Mellon, Citywest Hotel, Dixons Carphone, Seabourn Cruise Lines and Volkswagen Group Ireland. The Government of the Isle of Man was also there, highlighting the variety of career opportunities on the island.
October’s Jobs Expo also had two dedicated areas – the Education Village and the STEM Sector. At the Education Village, we had a number of teacher recruitment agencies looking to fill posts around the world. These included some close to home, like UK education specialists, Hourglass Education and the award-winning Oriel High School. New Zealand’s Education Personnel, and international recruiters World Teachers and SeekTeachers, were also there, recruiting teachers for a variety of international positions.
The STEM Sector hosted some of the most prestigious international and national employers in the science, technology, engineering, and medicine industries. Exhibitors taking part included Boston Scientific, B/E Aerospace, Alkermes, VWR International, Suir Engineering and Adaptive HVM. In addition, we had two innovative start-ups, HiUp and ArtofUs. HiUp is an innovative new app matching jobseekers with opportunities. It also includes courses so users can improve their skills and up their earning potential. ArtofUs is a pioneering new software company. They have developed the world’s first Human Operating System for the Internet of Things.
