Job seekers and industry professionals gathered at the Cork Jobs Expo, on Saturday May 25 2024 at the Devere Hall, at University College Cork (UCC). Sponsored by Recruit.ie, the event offered the perfect platform for attendees seeking career advancement, inspiration and recruitment.
The day attracted a diverse mix of professional participants seeking to take the next step in their careers meeting with major employers from local and international sectors actively recruiting for a range of positions.
Attendees had the opportunity to explore sections dedicated to industries facilitating focused job searches and networking prospects.
Beyond job openings the Expo also placed an emphasis on professional development. The Career Clinic offered one on one consultations, with career counselors giving tailored guidance on CV presentation, interview techniques, career confidence and growth.
The Agenda Stage featured a series of talks and workshops that attracted audiences throughout the day. The topics covered a range of subjects, including job search skills, using social media for finding jobs, mastering interview techniques and finding the right career pathway, providing attendees with knowledge and perspectives to help them navigate and succeed in the job market.
