Morocco is becoming a major player in the tech landscape and is well-positioned to become an international force in digital transformation.
The country’s commitment to digitization was displayed in May earlier this year when Moroccan Prime Minister, Aziz Akhannouch, announced that his government will launch Digital Strategy 2030, a roadmap for advancing digital economic development,
Alongside this, there was the successful hosting of the prestigious GITEX Africa event, which further underscored Morocco’s ambition to further its technological advancements.
Recruit.ie was delighted to be part of GITEX, highlighting their dedication to supporting Morocco’s growth.
“Being part of GITEX was an incredible opportunity for Recruit.ie to connect with the vibrant tech community in Morocco and support its journey towards becoming a digital leader,” said Bronagh Cotter, CEO of Recruit.ie. “We’re excited about the future and eager to contribute to the region’s technological advancements.”
With a strong infrastructure, strategic location, skilled workforce, supportive government policies and improved access to funding, Morocco is well-positioned to push towards positioning itself as an innovation hub on the continent and beyond.
To support this ambition, Recruit.ie is organizing JOB EXPO CASABLANCA inside Le Carre D’or in Casablanca, Morocco, in November 2024. This event aims to connect Moroccan professionals with global employers. Bronagh Cotter says, “Our passion is to create employment and offer the talented people of Morocco the opportunities they deserve worldwide. We are excited to bring Job Expo to Casablanca and facilitate these crucial connections.”
