Covid-19 has had widespread negative impact on jobs with thousands temporarily, or permanently out of work. However, there are many sectors in urgent need of workers in the industries that are supporting us through the pandemic. The main areas hiring are across Health Care, Pharmaceutical, Retail, Food supply chain,Manufacturing and IT sectors where
professionals across all levels are needed.

‘Virtual Recruitment Ireland’, has developed a brilliant new software bringing companies and professional candidates together on the easy to use platform.
Cotter says: “ We are passionate about helping to get this Country back on its feet again in these unprecedented times. The virtual jobs expo will put potential job seekers from leading industries with decision makers, from companies both in Ireland and abroad.”

All you’ll need to attend is a good internet connection and a smartphone, computer or web enabled device. The first virtual jobs expo will be held on August 27th 2020.

Since 2012, more than 130,000 jobseekers have attended Jobs expos across the country, meeting thousands of employers, as well as availing of free professional career advice and development seminars presented by industry insiders.

These established recruitment fairs run twice yearly in Galway, Cork and Dublin, while the Education Expo, Construction and Biz Expo are focused industry events which grow in scope year-on-year. Jobs Expo is an Irish-owned, Dublin-based business, managed by BCS Recruitment.

Bronagh Cotter, BCS Recruitment Founder and ‘Virtual Recruitment Ireland’ Director commented:

“In response to the present crisis, moving our services online, and providing a reliable, easy-to-use platform for our clients has been our key focus in the past few weeks. With the launch of our upcoming virtual expos, we have created an online forum where jobseekers and qualified professionals can learn about the opportunities available and where employers can
speak directly with them. All of our exhibitors are leading organisations in their field and this is the only event of it’s kind that is free to enter.”
