We’re looking for someone who will:

  • Be a self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating good organisational, communication and analytical skills to own and resolve customer issues.
  • Support the on-going embedding of a strong risk and compliance culture within the EBS Business through application of relevant regulatory and risk policies, codes, processes and procedures specific to EBS.
  • Facilitate the completion of regular and ad-hoc reports for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate the day to day completion of the key AML / CFT processes including PEPs, Ongoing Due Diligence and transaction monitoring.
  • Engage and support the EBS Network in relation to AML/ CFT and Risk event/ Error related management and logging.
  • Remain up to date with upstream legislation and risk challenges facing the organisation.
  • Participating in Regulatory Change projects in a constructive and collaborative manner.




You will need to show us that you can have:

  • Professional qualification (ACOI, QFA or other relevant discipline) would be preferable.
  • Minimum of 3 + years' experience in banking preferably in a Compliance role or similar experience in Risk or Internal/External Audit with a strong regulatory focus.
  • Understanding of compliance and operational risks across the banking and financial services industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams with strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster/manage relationships across multiple teams.
  • Ability to conduct research and provide recommendations in relation to AML/ CFT issues.
  • Knowledge of EBS products, while not a pre-requisite, would be desirable.
  • ROI roles - Please note: The Minimum Education requirements for entry to AIB is 5 passes in the Leaving Certificate (or equivalent), to include a pass in English and Maths. These must be achieved at either Ordinary or Honours Level. Confirmation of this will be sought if successful for the role.
