About the Role
ISC Beer brews and packages 7.2mHls of beer at 3 sites across Ireland and the UK. This team is also responsible for managing the Diageo keg population of 2.7M kegs with an asset value of £44m. The Supply Chain Planning team interprets demand signals from Domestic and Export Markets and translates these into supply plans and replenishment plans, with the objective of optimising customer service, inventory, capacity and cost. The function is responding to increasing SKU, packaging and component complexity, and it is operating in environments that are becoming increasingly constrained from a supply perspective.
These role makes supply chain decisions in the areas of capacity balancing, product sourcing, finished goods inventory, keg management, replenishment of warehouses via SMR (GB, IoI, NA, IT, and CAN) and component management which has implications for cash flow and overhead recoveries.
Generation of monthly and financial year volume insights and hence Trading Profit estimates in conjunction with Supply Finance is a critical output of this role. Generates replenishment plans for Keg, Empty Keg, Small Pack, and Beverage Blending Agents for domestic and export markets on an operational, tactical and strategic basis. Replenishment of domestic market via SMR and export markets via Make to Order and SMR.
The purpose of this role is to leverage, orchestrate and facilitate along the End-to-End Supply Chain to deliver robust supply plans that meet business needs. This will be delivered via highly developed partnerships and adopting an Integrated Business Management approach. Adherence to all supply planning processes for operations in Ireland and the UK in line with the objectives of the ISC Beer organisation.
In this role you will be responsible to:
- Produce clear and concise Supply and SMR replenishment plans to guarantee availability of product to meet customer demand on time and in full to world-class standards. Manage capacity positions at brewing, keg, beverage blending agent and packaging plants in Ireland and UK to meet demand and avoid additional costs.
- Provide timely and robust volume insights to the business.
- Ensure excellent communications of forward plans to each participant in supply chain (e.g. IMCs, manufacturing, brewing, logistics, procurement, and Beer LT).
- Initiate, lead and action inventory and empty keg management plans to control stocks of WIP and FG product and to avoid write off costs for all markets supplied. Instigate and manage annual portfolio review with all IMCs to drive maxinium production efficiency.
- Play key role in Global Supply Chain Project, Continuous Improvement activities, Product Innovation and Renovation Processes, balancing need for flexibility with commitments to service, cost and quality.

- Sound understanding of the entire Global and ISC beer supply chain and the ability to create possibilities, find solutions and plan/deliver improvement initiatives.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- BSc in Supply Chain, Business Administration or equivalent
- APICS Qualified or MSc in Supply Chain or equivalent
- At least 3 years Supply chain planning experience in an FMCG would be advantageous.
- Good knowledge and understanding of Demand and Supply Planning, Operations, Logistics and Route to Market is desirable.
- Excellent IT and numerical skills, to exploit benefits of SAP ECC6, SAP APO DP & SNP, Business Warehouse and BEX Analyser.
