Summary:

LMC FM is seeking a detail-driven Quality Engineer with a passion for implementing and delivering excellence in standards within our organisation and to our customers. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role and works well within a team.

 

A background in facilities management or related environment like engineering, construction, mechanical and electrical, or technology would be ideal but not essential.

Responsibilities:

·         Management of quality and  environmental management systems.

·         Conduct Non-Conformance investigations and manage the implementation of preventative and corrective actions.  

·         Manage the internal audit programme. Undertake regular internal and process audits of the quality management system. Ensure corrective actions are undertaken to address nonconformities found; and verify closure of nonconformities.

·         Monitor subcontractor approval and performance and manage the supplier corrective action request programme.

·         Ensure that all quality-focused activities operate in accordance with local health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff, subcontractors and customers.

·         Develop QMS documentation and ensure the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.

·         Monitor key performance indicators and generate associated reports.

·         Provide functional support to cross-functional teams.

·         Provide support to internal, certification and customer audits and associated corrective actions.

·         Encourage and embed a culture of continuous improvement.

·         Support new customer mobilisation.

·         Support Business Development and manage quality sections of tender responses.

·         Assist in developing core training programmes and materials in partnership with subject matter experts.

 

Experience:

·         Technical aptitude and relevant experience.

·         A self-starter, conscientious and diligent.

·         Strong technical capability with attention to detail.

·         Strong Problem solving and trouble-shooting skills.

·         Effective time management and communication skills.

·         Knowledge of SAP/CRM/CAFM systems.

·         Knowledge of GDPR and Data Protection legislation and requirements..

·         Knowledge of Operational Excellence/Lean/6 Sigma.

·         Planning and Project Management skills.

·         Knowledge of risk management and mitigation.

·         Excellent Microsoft Office skills.

·         Knowledge of video generation using PowerPoint, Microsoft Stream and Power BI an advantage.
