Position overview

Diligent is looking for a creative and versatile Product Designer to join our team. You’ll be part of a team that designs experiences which change the way organizations are run, empowering leaders to make better decisions for them – and the world.

Closely collaborate with a cross-functional team of Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers to bring Diligent’s vision of modern governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) to customers. The experiences you create will enable transparency and connectivity across organizations – sparking insights the most influential organizations need to make better decisions.

What you’ll do

• From discovery to delivery, you’ll steer the entire design process, utilizing your design skills to create experiences that solve user problems.
• You’ll be the voice of the user, advocating for and instilling the product team with a user centric mindset
• You’ll collaborate freely, sharing your expertise and absorbing learning from others to help foster a culture of improvement and continuous learning

What You’ll Need

• You have a portfolio of work demonstrating your design process and passion for design – online or pdf is required for consideration
• You have a well-rounded Product Design skill set (visual design, interaction design, research, etc.) with a drive to never stop learning and improving
• You take ownership of your work – making decisions, defending them soundly, and holding yourself responsible for the outcomes they produce.
• You believe communication of design is just as important as the design itself.
• You find energy in high paced, dynamic, and collaborative environments
