DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The key objectives the Senior ICT Project Manager will be to provide the National Transport Authority with technology-related project management services of an advisory, supervisory or executive nature as may be required by the National Transport Authority in the exercise and performance of any of its powers, functions and duties. The principal duties and responsibilities of the ICT Senior Project Manager will include some or all of the following:

? Supporting the NGT Programme Director, Business owner and Executive Sponsor in delivering the project outcomes;

? Project management of the NGT project in line with the NTA Project Approval Guidelines (PAG);

? Maintain a robust Governance and communication process;

? Accountable for ensuring that everyone on the team understand his or her deliverable utilising a RACI Matrix;

? Responsible for motivating others in the project team by using an engaging communication style;

? Managing relationships with sponsors, internal and external stakeholders, and supplier teams in a multi-vendor environment. Hold suppliers and internal stakeholders to account on their deliverables.

? Management of change, dependencies, issues and risks on projects;

? Production of project plans and regular progress reports, including Financial Management reports for both project teams and steering boards;

? Management of resources to achieve project objectives;

? Advocating the PMO in the Organisation whilst engaging with stakeholders on project delivery. Promote Business Relationship Engagement through awareness of the broader PMO delivery processes; - 22 -

? Support the structure, policies, and operations within the PMO and recommend solutions which will assist in achieving its goals;

? Proactively contribute to and lead some PMO process improvement initiatives.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA Please note: In order to satisfy these criteria, you must explicitly reference how you meet same in your Tender by demonstrating the relevant qualifications and experience. Each candidate must meet the following requirements at the time of the competition closing:

a) Prince 2/PMI project management qualification or equivalent;

b) Have at least seven years recent satisfactory experience of project management work, including 3 years in the management of people and projects;

c) Have at least 5 years recent satisfactory experience in the delivery of Ticketing Technology procurements and/or Ticketing implementation projects; and

d) Possess a high standard of technical training and experience.

DESIRABLE ATTRIBUTES The ideal candidate will also:

a) Have demonstrable stakeholder management experience;

b) Have proven experience in project planning;

c) Have proven risk management, issue management, and change management skills;

d) Have strong influencing, inter-personal and presentation skills;

e) Demonstrate strong leadership, management, interpersonal and communication skills; and

f) Have excellent report writing skills together with strong research and analysis skills.
