Head of Commercial Operations

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Head of Commercial Operations reporting to the Chief Financial Officer.
In this role, as Head of Commercial Operations you will:
- Prepare and deliver commercial pricing models that meet both client requirements and internal profitability criteria.
- Provide Strategic Pricing insights that increases our overall knowledge of Commercial Pricing within our BPO environment.
Role includes:
- Responsibility for producing detailed commercial pricing models based on Tender document requirements.
- Being capable of summarising pricing key points and communicating these effectively to wider stakeholders.
- Requires a person to have experience of Commercial Pricing including models that are either Resource based or transactional-based and ideally be familiar with Client - Vendor gain share models where any assumed vendor risk is correspondingly rewarded through contract performance that provides a benefit to both Client and Vendor.
- Requirement to work across Business stakeholders e.g. Operations, ICT, People to ensure that all relevant inputs to Pricing Models are correctly captured.
- Responsibility for the translation of key aspects of commercial pricing and negotiated terms into a legal contract.
- Responsibility for managing the transition of the finance aspects of a Contract award from its Pricing Model over to a Commercial Controller who then translates this into Profit Centre P&L and Overhead / Capex cost lines.
Desired Qualifications, Training, and Experience:
- 15 years of relevant accountancy experience in industries with a strong commercial environment.
- Professional Accountancy qualification.
- Knowledge of ERP, CRM, and Microsoft applications.
- Experience of previous hands on Financial reporting & compliance roles.
- Needs to have excellent Excel and PowerPoint modeling skills.
- Capable of communicating Financial metrics to various levels of the business, up to and including Board level.
- Knowledge of Irish Financial Reporting standards.

- Excellent analytical, investigative, problem solving, and follow-through skills.
- Strong Time Management skills - well able to prioritise several tasks.

- By virtue of past business experience, be capable of analysing a potential Business Decision, and provide an impartial assessment of options/scenario outcomes available.
- Be capable of working across all levels of Senior Management.
