Job Description

Responsibilities:

· Define and manage (drive through) project deliverables, costs, and benefits

· Ensure project objectives and success criteria (and changes thereto) are clearly defined and articulated to plan and initiate the projects

· To report on progress on plan

· Manage the risks and issues, including the development, implementation and oversight of robust mitigation plans

· Responsible for overall progress and use of allocated resources

· Manage and resolve issues on projects

· Prepare all necessary documentation and reports (internal and external) in line with agreed requirements, timescales, and quality standards

· Responsible for the overall control of internal and external expenditure within delegated authority framework

· Direct, lead, manage and motivate the project team

· Provides feedback on individuals contribution to the project

· To provide full project closure and measure against success criteria and business case

· Must be able to lead multiple projects, use project management tools and work directly with many cross functional resources including Quality, Regulatory, Development, Operations, Sourcing, Suppliers, Marketing and Engineering.

· Keeps up to date on the regulatory requirements as well as the changing domestic and international market needs.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Able to interpret detailed business requirements

· Effective reporting – internal and external

· Effective risk mitigation

· Experience supervising others

· Understanding of managerial functions & techniques (planning, controlling, organizing, evaluating, budgeting, staffing, etc)

· Understanding of development and test lifecycle.

· Proven presentation & negotiation skills

· Proven financial tracking skills

· Knowledge of commercial/financial management

· Experience working in a cross-functional team environment with ability to lead projects with tight timelines and drive to successful completion

· Ability to travel as needed

· Ability to work independently with minimal direction

· Set and achieves high standards

· Organizational ability (self & others)

· Ability to demonstrate innovative ideas to deliver solutions (no constraints approach)

· Results driven individual who can quickly command respect from all stakeholders

· Good people management skills – can work with a large team

· Proactively contributes to wider management team

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

· Bachelor’s in engineering, Science or equivalent

· 8+ years’ experience in medical device industry or related field

· Significant project management experience on projects with considerable budget

· Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint




Qualifications

Bacheloru2019s degree in engineering , Third level qualification in a Science or Engineering , Bacheloru2019s in engineering
