Job Description

Within the Pharmaceutical Centre of Excellence team and reporting to our Country Service Director, you will be responsible for running our Pharmaceutical Centre of Excellence.

This includes:

  1. Responsible for the coordination of the VWT Pharmaceutical Centre of Excellence.
  2. Deliver training as required
  3. Ensure that the delivery of Training is in accordance with the agreed Quality Assurance Management System and the requirements of certifying bodies.
  4. Effectively plan, deliver, review, and continuously improve the training offering of VWT
  5. Plan, manage and monitor the QA procedures/systems and report on same to Country Service Director
  6. Effectively lead the team assigned, innovate, and integrate the training syllabus
  7. Plan, manage, monitor, and report on all the Training activities and services in the respective business units of VWT, in line with the approved Veolia Group Training strategy and plans.
  8. Support the identification of staff who are suitably qualified and competent and continuously develop them to perform training duties to a consistently high standard.
  9. Establish and agree with the Country Service Director / HR Manager the annual activity plans and related budgets for the service.
  10. Ensure that activity plans and budgets are constantly monitored and are achieved, ensuring that corrective action is taken as required.
  11. Ensure that activities within the VWT Pharmaceutical Centre of Excellence are delivered in the most efficient and cost-effective manner, within the Veolia regulatory framework of corporate governance and accounting practice.
  12. Ensure that the assets and reputation of the organisation are properly maintained and protected.
  13. Arrange for the most effective and efficient distribution of the financial, human, and material resources of the service.
  14. Ensure that there is an efficient management of information and learning systems which is appropriately integrated into VWT management information systems.
  15. Plan monitor and report on all matters financial to the Director of VWT Ireland.
  16. Contribute as a member of VWT Training Team to the future planning and development of Training in the Centre of Excellence.
  17. Liaise with other relevant agencies/bodies/organisations as necessary to enhance, enable and develop our offering
  18. Establish and maintain good communication and liaison structures within the service.
  19. Perform such other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Country Service Director
  20. Promote and ensure commitment and compliance to the core values of VWT
  21. Work closely with the HR and Marketing Teams of VWT Ireland to ensure VWT Europe TDS is maximising it’s investment in the Centre.

Qualifications

You have an educational background or experience in Engineering, Science or Technology?

You have competencies in / knowledge of:

  • Delivering Training
  • Strong organisation skills
  • Communication with key stakeholders
