Job Profile:

Brampton are an upmarket nursing home based centrally within the town of Oranmore along the main street and only a 5-minute walk from Oranmore Castle. Currently, we are going through a series of thrilling developments and expansions and it is the perfect time to get involved.

An exciting new opportunity has come up here for an Activities Coordinator who will be responsible for organising and monitoring the daily activities of residents and ensuring a pleasant atmosphere for residents. This is a *new* role which will allow a creative and enthusiastic candidate to really put a stamp on the activities of the residents going forward.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Planning and implementing daily and weekly activity programmes.

• Perform escort duties on outings and engaging with residents in a calm, professional and friendly manner.

• Maintaining and updating documentation files for residents.

• Assisting the introduction and orientation of new residents and their integration with those previously within Brampton.

• Attending and undertaking training as required.

Job Requirements:

• Enthusiastic and creative approach to residential care.

• Relevant qualification in Healthcare/Social Care.

• Strong communication and language skills.

• Previous experience managing vulnerable patient activities.

• Experience designing and implementing creative activities.
