Key roles

The role of the claim processor will be to interact with the policy holder and other parties and to accurately record details of the claim.

Specific responsibilities (including but not limited to)

• Consulting with various parties
• Negotiating settlement and management of claims
• Preparing claim forms and related documentation
• Managing a large portfolio of claims
• Keeping an accurate record of all actions conducted i.e., all telephone/email conversations must be suitably detailed in a typed file note
• Insured and client relationship management
• Recording and maintaining insurance policy and claims information in a database system
• Recording and resolving customer complaints

Qualifications/skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Previous administration and phone experience
• Good attention to details
• Ability to deal with complaints
• Empathy

Experience

• At least 12 months administration experience
• At least 12 months phone experience
• Previous Customer service experience.
