Title: Production Supervisor

Summary: The role of Production Supervisor is focused on output and is an essential part of performance within the topical Filling Operations to accomplish target utilizations, OEE and schedule adherence. The successful candidate will supervise and organise the everyday running of the Topical Packing Business Unit.

Responsibilities:

• Consistently comply to cGMP standards (Document Management Systems, Deviations, Change Control etc.), Health and Safety standards (Manual Handling, Evacuation Policy etc.) and become familiar with company systems.
• Evaluate and review Lot Documentation.
• Set and achieve Challenge Targets for performance metrics schedule/output adherence.
• Coordinate production and maintenance activities while encouraging and developing a high performance, outcome focused team.
• Supervise Operators.
• Provide direction, leadership, and guidance to warehouse operators, and also providing performance reviews to personnel.
• Communicate with various service departments to develop cooperation between business units and interaction.
• Actively contribute to cross departmental projects and initiatives.
• Close project on time while meeting specification, performance, and cost.
• Make sure Business Unit Manager is kept up to date of developments and issues which may arise.
• Demonstrate excellent leadership skills within production team.
• Complete administration duties including the following: time and attendance, holiday planning etc.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Third level qualification in technical/life science.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a pharmaceutical industry.
• Previous experience as Production Supervisor.
• Excellent knowledge of GMP.
• Ability to work diligently in inspecting, sampling, and testing to the required appropriate standard and delivering raw materials, packaging materials, in process materials, finished products, and stability testing to the appropriate laboratories.
• Safety conscious approach within laboratory setting.
• Engage in continuous improvement activities including activities which promote performance and schedule adherence in lab.
• Can do, positive attitude and ability to make decisions.
