Atlas Language School, Dublin is looking to recruit an Accommodation Officer to join their school in Portobello Dublin on a full-time basis from December 2024. The Accommodation Officer will have responsibility for placing our students in suitable homestay accommodation. It is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team in the language and travel sector!


 

Accommodation Officer Responsibilities include:

  • Allocating students in host families
  • Managing check-in and check-out of residential and host family accommodation
  • Booking airport transfers for arrivals and departures
  • Facilitating students moving accommodation where required and booking transfers accordingly
  • Recruiting, evaluating and selecting suitable host families and homestay providers
  • Placing students in suitable homestay by taking into account the students’ profile, background and requirements
  • Processing and maintaining student accommodation records
  • Ensuring compliance with Atlas’ accommodation standards as outlined in our handbooks and policies
  • Maintaining and updating our accommodation database
  • Dealing with student queries regarding accommodation and acting as a liaison between students and homestay providers
  • Monitoring and evaluating accommodation feedback and dealing with comments and complaints as required
  • Out of hours on-call duties on a rotation basis

  • You are a fluent English speaker

 

This is a permanent, full-time position of 37.5 working hours per week: 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday. The Accommodation team has an emergency phone for out-of-hour calls which rotates amongst the team. There is additional compensation for out-of-hour calls.
