We have an opportunity for a Software Test Analyst based in Group Technology. In your role as Software Test Analyst, you will be primarily responsible for leading the test planning & execution on a suite of applications, with particular focus on Digital Channel applications e.g., Mobile App, Open24, Business and Broker online channels. The role involves test analysis, design and execution on complex software development projects to ensure delivery of the functionality according to the business & technical requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong business & technical aptitude to gain experience across a wide range of technologies while working within a team of testing professionals.

Responsibilities:

Test Planning & Reporting

• Test project estimation & scheduling.

Test Analysis & Design

• Reviewing and interpreting the test basis and test object (via Business Requirements Documents, User stories, Functional & Technical Specifications).

Test Execution & Defect Management

• Developing and prioritizing test procedures.

Test Automation and Tooling

• Using and updating Software tools which automate or assist any part of the testing process across all or part of the testing lifecycle.
• Using and administering a broad range of test tools (in particular JIRA & Confluence).

Requirements:

• 2+ years¿ experience in a formal IT testing environment.
• A proven technical aptitude with ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Enthusiastic & committed individual who wishes to progress within the organisation.
• Good Data Analytical & Problem solving skills.
• Strong Excel skills ¿ Pivots, VLOOKUP, Compares, IF formulas, etc.

This is a Permanent Hybrid role based in Cork/Dublin.
