TECHNOPATH Distribution Ltd is a specialised, value-adding distributor, supplying essential products and services to the Healthcare, Pharma, Life Sciences and Food Sectors across Ireland and the U.K.
We focus on two key areas, Laboratory Sciences and Medical Devices. The Laboratory Sciences Division provides specialised quality control/assurance and testing modalities to the Clinical Pathology, Pharma, Life Sciences, Food and Dairy sectors. The Medical Division provides innovative medical devices and services to the Acute Hospital, Community Care and Blood Technology sectors.
We form long-term partnerships with globally leading manufacturers, many of whom are leaders in their fields. Our role is to provide exceptional localised service levels that ensure we are not just supplying a product but rather providing solutions that help our customers to deliver outstanding results.
TECHNOPATH Distribution Ltd is part of the Diploma Healthcare Group and is owned by Diploma PLC (DPLM), an FTSE 100 company.
Having fit-for-purpose resources and the right ‘in-house’ skill sets is key to being able to provide customers with exceptional product and service solutions. The entire TECHNOPATH team is dedicated to delivering on our purpose to help customers achieve outstanding results. At our headquarters, we have a great team of specialised people who support our highly knowledgeable and experienced field-based sales, clinical engineering and nursing teams. Our teams include dedicated supply chain management, quality management, customer support, sales order processing, after-sales support, LOT sequester management, procurement, and marketing personnel supported by an experienced senior leadership team

2021 was a record year financially for Technopath and in addition, we achieved many milestones that will serve as a solid foundation for our growth plans in the medium term. With the support of Diploma PLC, we continue to invest significantly in our infrastructure ensuring we have the necessary resources in place to continue to exceed customer expectations in an increasingly complex and highly regulated marketplace. We have big ambitions to grow our business, both organically and through acquisition in both Ireland and the UK. Diploma PLC is very acquisitive and successfully closed ten acquisitions during FY2021 with an acquisition spend in excess of €500M. There is a strong focus on building out the European Scientific and Healthcare Division with three acquisitions in that division, currently, Diploma is actively engaged in two acquisition processes in the Scientific and Healthcare sector in Ireland and the UK. The acquisition is a very significant part of our business strategy and is essential for the company to achieve its financial ambitions, in addition, provides exciting personal and career development opportunities for high-performing individuals within the group.
We have a clear strategy focus on delivering strong underlying organic performance and growth through acquisition. We are investing in our financial and logistics infrastructure to ensure we are future-proofed in terms of service delivery.
