YOUR ROLE
Aramark Workplace Solutions is looking to recruit a Project Manager to work on the PPPCo contract operating 14 Primary Care Centres (PCC) across Ireland. The role will require travel to all other centres to manage the delivery of projects and to manage the suppliers undertaking the deliver. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellence in service to our Client with nationwide coverage in completion of Defect correction projects, life cycle projects and major improvement projects across the portfolio. These projects are likely to have budgets up to €1M. It will require engagement with HSE client staff, PPPCo staff, design teams/technical experts, AWS management team, Aramark support services and AWS supply chain contractors, who are responsible for the various works and related delivery contracts.

This is a full time and permanent role.
 

Job Responsibilities

•    Lead project procurement with the central supply chain team.
•    Ensure Projects are completed as per design and within developed schedules via use of strong solution base Project Management skills
•    Develop Project programmes with the technical experts and site teams.
•    Update and communicate weekly to all key stakeholders on significant issues, budgets, KPIs, works completed and conduct of works
•    Monitor and analyse project performance against clearly identified indicators and recommend future performance enhancements
•    Supplier Manage the subcontractors delivering the projects through rigorous plans and regular update meetings
•    Prepare the monthly management report for the project areas
•    Liaising with client and other support services
•    Liaising with the various stakeholders and sub - contractors and other facility and related contractors and personnel
•    Liaising with Client staff
•    Custodian of strict onsite Safety and Security Polices & Procedures and make sure HSE and PPPCo receive all appropriate documentation throughout the projects
•    Resilience support to Regional Facilities Manager  

Qualifications

•    The candidate shall have significant experience in facility and project management in a large organisation
•    They will operate in a solution based Project management mentality to drive projects to their successful completion not just report on them.
•    They will have experience in the seamless management of mid to large scale projects in regard to Building Services and the refurbishment of space.
•    Significant experience of managing suppliers, sub contractors and technical experts.
•    Ability to build relationships and effective communication across the Departments
•    Demonstrable experience working to strict H&S Controls
•    Aptitude for problem resolution and handling complaints
•    Project and time management
•    Finance management
•    Well-developed IT skills and report writing – MS project and Excel
•    Change Management experience
•    Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
•    Ability to work as a team member
•    Flexible approach in dealing with dynamic challenges
•    Demonstrate initiative and innovation
•    Ability to read & understand Specifications & drawings
•    Ability to travel to sites is critical to the role.
