Ethos Engineering IT Department is growing, and as result, we are looking for extra technical support to ensure we deliver high-quality work across our groups.
This role will suit an ambitious, energetic, organised, and adaptable individual who has excellent communication and time management skills. The successful candidate must be able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
This role requires someone with 1+ year' of hands-on experience in helpdesk support to come in and provide support and L1 troubleshooting for systems and network issues for end-users. In the role you'll be logging calls, tracking and working to resolve end employees' support issues.
Role Duties:
To act as the first point of contact for Ethos employees, gathering information and logging support tickets
Provision of user accounts and equipment
Hardware troubleshooting and application troubleshooting and support
Fault finding with escalation to the IT Manager.
Provide deskside and remote support for Ethos employees
Maintain, build and contribute to the documentation
Working with third party vendors
Experience/Skillset Required:
1-2 year's experience in a User Support Role (Helpdesk/Field Engineer)
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows and MS Desktop Applications
Active Directory, Office 365 and Azure experience
Microsoft MCP for Client or Server OS
CompTIA A+ & CompTIA NET +
Excellent Communication Skills
The ability to prioritise issues accordingly
The ability to quickly learn new technologies
Equipment builds and repairs
The ability to think logically
Excellent listening and questioning skills, combined with the ability to interact confidently with clients to establish what the problem is and explain the solution
The ability to work well as part of a team
