The Challenge
This is a new and exciting role, focused on developing Diageo’s luxury spirits portfolio in the top venues in Ireland through distribution, training, visibility, and brand events, to win spirits share and deliver amazing consumer spirit experiences.
Do you want to work with the top spirits venues in Ireland to deliver amazing consumer spirit experiences? You will be partnering and collaborating with Owners, General Managers, top Mixologists, and the best bartenders in the country.
Are you commercially savvy with the ability to strike smart commercial deals? You will be curating commercial agreements matching customer and business needs.
Can you identify customer and consumer needs and deliver joint brand activation and training plans to meet those needs?
Are you creative with an eye for detail? You will be working with Diageo and Customers to coordinate the brilliant implementation of training and brand programs, consumer experiences and events through a brand portfolio?

Key outcomes of the Role:
Win sustainable Market Share of spirits: Grow share of luxury spirits disproportionaltely
Beat the competition by ensuring that the Diageo luxury portfolio is pouring or has cocktail status in the most influencial On Trade customers and strategic groups by developing and agreeing winning pouring/cocktail status commercial customer propositions.
Establish brilliant relationship management networks interbally and externally
Develop Joint Business Plans in collaboration with the customer and other Diageo commercial and brand teams.
Brand Advocacy: Generate brand love and deliver training across key on trade influencers and bar tenders in the top venues in Ireland with bespoke brand training and engagement.
Lead M&E activity to ensure we are constantly improving our plans
Top functional capabilities for this role:
Spirits knowledge and cocktail making experience preferred
Proven brand development and activation experience in Diageo or equivalent external role
Internal or external experience as Field Sales or Customer Marketing
Good analytical and core selling skills
Can build powerful relationships and work collaboratively within a team
Strong influencing skills
Strong commercial drive and commercial curiosity
Bachelors Degree
