The Opportunity:

This is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team within the Chanelle group. We are looking for an individual who will support and drive Chanelle Pharma’s vision to be the most valued global provider of high quality, competitively priced pharmaceutical products and to provide excellent services and support to our customers.

Reporting to the EHS Manager, the DGSA/ Specialist will apply strong fundamental expertise in the support of Environmental Health and Safety compliance within the company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Provide ongoing consultancy / training on all aspects associated with the consignment of dangerous goods.

· Complete onsite dangerous goods compliance audits / Audit report writing / Complete dangerous goods annual reports.

· Develop & maintain in-house procedures for activities associated with the carriage of dangerous goods in line with current guidance.

· Investigate dangerous goods related accidents and/or incidents.

· Manage Certification of Dangerous Goods notes for the correct shipment of goods

· Update training records and waste records as required.

· Process ownership for waste management onsite

· Organise EHS / DGSA training for relevant departments as required.

· Other relevant duties as designated

QUALIFICATIONS:

· DGSA Licence required

·3rd level qualification –. Health & Safety or a DGSA certificate would be preferable.

· Strong computer skills in MS Office

· Experience working with Dangerous Goods.
