Example of a Client Visit Scenario
Your day starts with a visit to a client who has recently been feeling quite isolated and emotionally vulnerable due to limited mobility and the recent loss of a spouse. Upon arrival, you greet them with a gentle and caring approach.
After the initial conversation, you assist them with their morning routine. This includes helping with getting out of bed, personal hygiene, continence care, dressing, and medication prompts. Throughout these tasks, you maintain a caring and sensitive approach, respecting their need for privacy and independence.
Throughout your visit, you also ensure the living space is comfortable and safe, handling any light housekeeping tasks, ensuring their home environment is safe and secure.
As you leave, you reassure them about your next visit, leaving them with a sense of joy and a feeling of being cared for, both physically and emotionally.
You leave the client, content that they are okay and safe before heading off to your next client visit.
