Supporting local sites for quick resolution of problems by using technical knowledge and data analytical skills to develop and proliferate action plans, and overseeing their execution.

Working efficiently with other departments/groups within the Nikon Precision business unit to ensure each technical issue is appropriately prioritised, and resolved in a timely manner.

Creating technical explanation materials and presenting them in internal and customer meetings.

Increasing the technical and analytical knowledge of field personnel in all product lines and/or systems by transferring technical information, creating BKM’s, preparing and delivering training and creating/verifying technical documentation as needed.

Requirements

Who you are:

You are fluent in both English and Japanese.

You have a minimum qualification of 3 year relevant Engineering or science Diploma.

You have an excellent understanding of electronics, mechanics, optics, software development or other discipline relevant to the Semiconductor Industry.

You have an advanced understanding of data collection, manipulation and analysis to troubleshoot complex issues.

You are competent in writing scripts to collect, manipulate and analyze data.

You are proficient with any analysis software and/or programing language (Python, Perl, Matlab…).

You are proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel VBA is a benefit).

You are competent in generating complex action plans to investigate/address machine issues and manage their execution.

You are competent in performing troubleshooting/repair of system faults and proven ability to resolve difficult machine problems without supervision.

You can actively manage several critical issues and escalations simultaneously.

You have a high level of communications skills – both written and verbal (including clear and concise technical writing skills), with a particular ability to explain complicated scenarios.

You have experience in project management.

You have a strong desire to improve your technical and professional abilities.
