Job Descriptions



Reporting to the Site OPEX Lead, your key responsibilities will be;

•    Deliver continuous improvement initiatives throughout the dept to meet service, quality and cost objectives.
•    Support excellence in the day-to-day management of the dept. through implementation and maintenance of daily management tools.
•    Support functional leadership and assigned teams with the development of both strategic project portfolios and detailed project plans.
•    Apply the concepts, tools, and training techniques of Lean, Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma philosophies.
•    Influence/motivate senior management to identify opportunities and apply Lean, Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma philosophies.
•    Support/motivate project teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of projects.
•    Provide regular communication of and CIP / OPEX project status to departmental staff and leadership.
•    Provide OPEX system and tools training, in partnership with the wider OPEX team
•    Comply with the EHS policy and procedures and demonstrate EHS best practices in all work activities.


What education & experience do you need?
•   Bachelors Degree in Science, Engineering or Business and be Green Belt Qualified
•   Proven experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment with 5+ years' experience within highly regulated environment
•    Working knowledge of program management systems (TIP, Office, Cloud, etc)
•    Demonstrated working knowledge & application of Operational Excellence methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints etc
•    Understanding of GMP, CFR Title 21, and other regulatory guidance in a GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
•    Ability to present complicated data and information in simple, easy to understand format
